Polymatic monocord bonded polyester sewing thread from Coats Threads.

Polymatic monocord sewing threads are made of selected high tenacity, heat resistant, continuous multi filament polyester yarns. This unique construction significantly improves strength and abrasion resistance. Engineered with a neutral twist balance rather than left or right twist like typical threads, polymatic thread provides sewing performance in either left or right needles of two needle machines.

Its oval, non-cutting shape reduces machine part wear, allowing thread tension to be spread over a wider area. This oval shape also provides a low profile stitch further reducing seam abrasion and conforms to the needle eye, and allows the use of finer needles, if desired. Uniformly bonded with resins provides greater temperature resistance for optimum sewing performance. This low profile thread is an excellent choice for boat covers, tarps, awnings and any outdoor fabric application.
